YTTW (BTTE) Flexible Mineral Insulated Fire-Resistant Cable Product Details The "Flexible Fire Barrier Flame Retardant Fire-Resistant Wire and Cable" independently developed by the group in 2009 was granted an exclusive invention patent certificate by the State Intellectual Property Office in 2013. Since its full promotion and market launch in 2013, the product has received unanimous praise from a wide range of users. Applications: 1. Power supply for firefighting equipment and fire elevators in various buildings; 2. Power supply for equipment and lighting systems in important or densely populated buildings, such as convention centers, exhibition centers, hotels, airports, hospitals, shopping malls, parking lots, and other urban complexes; 3. Power supply for equipment in environments with high temperatures, such as steel plants, smelters, and glass factories; 4. Power supply for equipment in critical flammable and explosive environments, such as petrochemical plants and coal mines; 5. Power supply for equipment in places requiring high cleanliness, such as hospitals and food factories; 6. Power supply for critical military, defense, aerospace, and satellite base equipment; 7. Key Features and Advantages: 1. Flexibility: The cable conductors use mature stranding technology, and the sheath is made of specially processed soft copper, providing resistance to mechanical impact and flexible bending. This avoids the common issues of terminal connections and delivery lengths encountered with rigid mineral insulated cables like BTTZ. 2. Fire Resistance: Both the conductor and sheath are made of copper, which has a melting point of 1080°C. The insulation and other auxiliary materials use minerals with a melting point as high as 1375°C or above, enabling the product to meet the standards of GB12666.6 and BS6387. 3. Low Smoke: Smoke emission tests according to IEC1034 and GB/T17651.2-1998 show a light transmittance of over 80% (standard is 60%) when measuring smoke density under specific conditions. 4. Halogen-Free: Since the insulation and sheath of the mineral cable are made of inorganic materials without typical PVC, no acidic gases are produced even under fire conditions. Tests according to GB/T17650.2-1998 show a pH value of 5.0 or higher (standard requirement ≥4.3) and conductivity around 1.0 (standard requirement ≤10.0). 5. High Temperature Resistance: The cable can operate long-term in environments up to 125°C, replacing low-smoke, halogen-free flame-retardant cables rated for 125°C. It can also operate short-term at 1080°C in emergencies. 6. Corrosion Resistance: The cable insulation uses inorganic mineral materials, allowing installation without additional protective measures. 7. High Current-Carrying Capacity: Compared to cables of the same cross-section, conventional cables often fail due to insulation issues under overload, where conductors heat up and insulation degrades, causing short circuits. The mineral insulation in fire-resistant cables, with a melting point of 1375°C, resists aging or delays it significantly, enabling higher current transmission and greater overload tolerance. 8. High Mechanical Strength: YTTW (BTTE)/NG-A and BTLY (BTLE) metal-sheathed mineral insulated fire-resistant cables, with copper or aluminum sheaths, have high melting points and offer strong resistance to mechanical impact under fire conditions. BBTRZ non-metallic flexible fire barrier cables, due to their unique barrier material, form a honeycomb-like rigid structure when burned, effectively resisting external mechanical impact. 9. Customizable Length: As all products in this series are flexible mineral insulated fire-resistant cables, they can be coiled onto reels for packaging, allowing for virtually unlimited manufacturing lengths. Thus, the factory can supply cables according to the design length requirements provided by customers. 10. Stable Insulation Performance: The unlimited length eliminates the need for joints due to insufficient length during installation. Fewer joints mean higher insulation performance and reduced susceptibility to moisture. Traditional BTTZ cables are prone to moisture issues at joints.
